The Murdock Trust is in a season of exciting renewal. As we have shared over the last year, we moved to a sectoral model which is designed to increase impact and introduce new efficiencies in our work, enabling us to better serve Pacific Northwest communities in sustainable ways.
This restructure has given us an opportunity to evaluate how we can best deploy the skills of our staff against our new model of work. With our previous structure of program officers working as generalists across all sectors, a robust Grants Management Team was the most effective model for shared services. As we are moving into deeper sectoral work, we are thrilled to announce that three key members of our Grants Management Team are moving into new positions as Associate Program Officers where they will provide sector analysis and grant processing support to our sector teams.
Francesca Cruz is being promoted to Associate Program Officer for Health & Environmental Stewardship. Francesca has been a lively part of our team since 2018. With an educational background in cultural anthropology and work experience at the Trust in grants management, administration, and front desk roles, Francesca will bring a robust knowledge of Murdock Trust grantmaking to this sector. We are thrilled to see her strong contributions to supporting heathy people and healthy lands across our region!
Jason Lee is being promoted to Associate Program Officer for Arts, Culture, & Education. For ten years, Jason has been a pivotal part of our Trust grants team, most recently as Grantee Relations Manager. Jason brings diverse nonprofit experience in youth development, theater, and education to his work in this sector, and we cannot wait to watch him strengthen our work in new ways.
Camrynne Six is being promoted to Associate Program Officer for Civic Engagement & Community Services. Ever since she joined the Trust in 2022 as a Grants Manager, Camrynne has provided vital structures and data-driven processes to our grantmaking. As she joins the Civic Engagement & Community Services team, Camrynne brings these strengths and her business leadership experience to sectoral research and grantee support.
Please join us in cheering on these three outstanding staff members and celebrating this new season of their work at the Trust!
