One of the great joys of our work at the Murdock Trust is the incredible individuals with which we get to work, and it is always an exciting time when a new colleague joins our team. This means that it is deeply bittersweet when one of our colleagues moves on to a new season of life and work. These last months have held both joyful and bittersweet moments as we have welcomed new faces to the Trust, said “see you later” to familiar ones, and recognized other staffing transitions.
Today, we wanted to share a few of these updates:
- We were both joyous and saddened by the news that Amy Dickerson would transition out of her role as Program Coordinator for Enrichment in order to pursue a dream opportunity at her alma mater, Point Loma Nazarene University. During her time at the Trust, Amy provided brilliant support and coordination to all 31 overlapping Enrichment programs, helping to introduce new offerings and increase the number of organizations served. In all that she did, she modeled hospitality, excellence, and warmth. While we cheer Amy on as she takes this next step in her professional journey, she will be greatly missed around the Trust.
- We are excited to welcome Camrynne Six as our new Grants Manager. Camrynne joins the Trust after an extensive career overseeing operations in the educational space. A graduate of Northwest Nazarene University with a degree in business administration and finance, Camrynne most recently served as the Director of Operations for St. Stephens Academy. Now as Grants Manager at the Trust, Camrynne works directly with nonprofits to support them through the grant application and administration process.
- And it is with great pride and admiration that we share that Jill Lemke was promoted to Senior Director for Training and Capacity Building where she will oversee all onboarding for our new program directors, as well as the ongoing training of our program director staff. In addition to her direct work with grant applicants as a program director, Jill will also now help direct efforts by the Trust to support the development of smaller and newer nonprofit organizations. In her more than 13 years with the Trust, Jill has demonstrated an exemplary level of service to our constituents and a passion to help those within our organization and those we serve to grow and develop in sustainable and impactful ways. We are thrilled to bring her expertise to this new role.
