This week, we are heartbroken by the passing of Karin Swanson, the beloved wife of Trustee Emeritus Lyn Swanson.
“Karin saw each person as a special and unique gift to be celebrated and honored with love,” shared Steve Moore, executive director, Murdock Trust. “Her commitment and partnership with Lyn was an inspiration.”
Karin built her life on service to others, holding leadership roles with several community service groups, including Young Life, Women’s Bible Study Fellowship, McMinnville Covenant Church, and various church ministries.
A dedicated mother and grandmother, Karin helped bring warmth and light to the Murdock Trust family when she and Lyn joined us in 1987 and we have been grateful to have shared 34 wonderful years with her.
We are forever grateful for her spirit, her dedication to others, and her energy and smile that lit up every room.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Swanson family during this difficult time. We love you, Karin. Rest in peace.
