The M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust is pleased to announce that Jeremy White has joined the Vancouver, WA nonprofit foundation as a program director.
“Jeremy has an incredible blend of professional experience and expertise that make him uniquely suited to partner with the nonprofits with whom we partner. Inviting him to join the Murdock team is an exciting addition because of the broad experience he brings,” said Steve Moore, executive director, M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust. “His background in building community and collaboration coupled with his rich professional history working with nonprofits serving youth and the faith-based community, as well as his experience navigating the complexities of government, will be incredibly valuable to the applicants he works with as well as to our broader team.”
“My passion is finding opportunities to help uplift and support individuals and communities by helping nonprofits and community organizations flourish and thrive,” said White. “My new role with the Murdock Trust provides an unmatched opportunity for me to partner with a diverse collection of nonprofits, leaders and volunteers across a broad region, continuing the work I’ve built over more than 20 years supporting nonprofits across the country. I am very excited to set down roots in the Pacific Northwest and get to work!”
Prior to joining the Murdock Trust, Jeremy operated RestoreHope Consulting, a firm focused on providing community engagement, diversity and inclusion support and thought leadership through partnerships with federal, state and local government agencies. White is the Executive Director of Christian Young Adults, a nonprofit dedicated to leadership and spiritual empowerment, peer support and community service.
A graduate of Princeton University, Jeremy began his career at The Brookings Institution and went on to hold roles with Prison Fellowship ministries, Unique Learning Center as well as serving as Director of Outreach for the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives under George W. Bush.
Jeremy will officially begin his role this summer. Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Jeremy!
